Meet Glutathione – your body’s master antioxidant. There’s a reason why you might not have met before. Glutathione has been hard at work boosting your energy level and enhancing your immune system by fighting off toxins that are known to lead to serious health issues, such as cancer, heart disease and Alzheimer’s, to name a few.
Isn’t it great knowing that there is a molecule like Glutathione protecting you and looking out for you? What’s even better is knowing that Glutathione is actually a naturally produced antioxidant found in every cell in our bodies. Unlike other vitamins and minerals that act as antioxidants, Glutathione works at the cellular level to neutralize free radicals that have the tendency to run us down.

Unfortunately, as we get older, Glutathione levels begin to run short due to things like pollution, poor diet, medications, stress, aging, infection and trauma. As these levels drop, we become more susceptible to free radicals, infections, and other cell disintegration.
The good news is, there are several things we can do to replace and actually increase the production of Glutathione. Here are three important things you can do to get more Glutathione in your system:
1. Eating the Right Foods
There are a number of foods we can eat to help enhance glutathione naturally. Eating the right foods supplies our bodies with the proper nutrients it needs to reside in a state of balance that allows better Glutathione production. Some of the foods to focus on include the following:
- Fresh Fruits and Vegetables – especially sulfur-rich vegetables like garlic, onions, parsley. Avocados, squash and tomatoes can also boost glutathione production.
- Red Meats – the alpha lipoic acid found in red meats has shown to help regenerate glutathione.
- Organic Turmeric – well known for its potent healing qualities, turmeric can also be helpful in enhancing glutathione production.
A healthy amount of physical activity can kick-start the production of adenosine triphosphate or ATP, which is the molecule that supplies cellular energy. This is key for helping Glutathione to reach the levels it needs to be at in order to be most effective. If you’re not already exercising on a regular basis, remember to start slow and steady and build from there. 30 minutes of vigorous aerobic exercise, such as walking or jogging, is a good goal.
3. Glutathione Supplements
In addition to eating healthy and exercise, there are also Glutathione supplements available via nebulizer, in oral form or as injections. Transformyou offers glutathione supplements as one of the many weight loss treatments we provide. Treatments are simple to administer and can be combined with other weight loss programs such as HCG.
