Medical Weight Loss Clinic
Are you tired of the never-ending battle with excess weight? Dieting can be incredibly challenging, and it's frustrating when we bounce from one diet to another without achieving lasting results. We've all been there – losing weight, only to see it creep back on again. But it doesn't have to be this way.
If you're determined to achieve weight loss and embrace a healthier lifestyle, you've come to the right place. At Transformyou, we understand the risks associated with being overweight, and we believe that effective weight management is key to reducing those risks and taking care of your body. Here's a look at medical weight loss: you're options, what it entails, and how it can help you keep the weight off long-term.
Why Medical Weight Loss?
When you combine healthy lifestyle choices with medical weight loss methods, you'll likely see much greater results! People who combine both a healthy lifestyle with medical weight loss methods have been known to lose 3-9% more of their beginning body weight than those just making lifestyle changes. Results vary by medication and person, but research shows that many lose 10% or more of their starting weight.
Weight loss can have a positive effect on your overall health. Losing 5-10% of your starting body weight can lower your blood pressure, blood sugar, and triglycerides. It can also improve joint pain, sleep apnea, and other health problems.
Medical Weight Loss Options
Transformyou offers a range of medical weight loss options so that everyone can find the right method (or combination of methods) for their body type, goals, and health needs. Options include enhanced diets, injectables, and appetite suppressants. We also offer VASER Shape, a non-invasive alternative to liposuction. You can learn more about these options below!
Weight Loss Injections
Weight loss injections provide a number of benefits in addition to supporting weight loss. Our options include B12/MIC, B12 Complex, and Glutathione.
Semaglutide, also called Ozempic and Wegovy and Tirzepatide (also called Mounjaro), is known for improving blood sugar control and is also available as weight loss medication.

Weight Loss Medications
You may find that prescription appetite suppressants are needed to kick-start your weight loss and help you reach your goals. Appetite suppressants are currently the most used drug for weight loss. Suppressants produce dramatic results when taken correctly and combined with the right lifestyle changes. Learn more about appetite suppressants here.
Weight Loss Peptides
Peptide therapy offers targeted support for your weight loss journey. Options range from CJC-1295 and Ipamorelin to MOTS-c and many more, so you can find the right fit for your specific weight loss goals and body type. Peptides can accelerate fat burning, improve muscle tone, regulate appetite, and more. Learn more about peptide therapy here.

Understanding Healthy Weight, Overweight, and Obesity
Let's be honest; understanding what a healthy weight is in comparison to being overweight or obese can be difficult. Most health care providers gauge weight in relation to your height to define a healthy or unhealthy weight. This is known as using the Body Mass Index (BMI). Individuals with a BMI between 25 and 30 are typically considered overweight, and those with a BMI of 30 or greater are considered obese.
However, BMI is not the most reliable way to gauge a person's health or whether or not they are at a healthy weight. According to Medical News Today, BMI "is an inaccurate measure of body fat content and does not take into account muscle mass, bone density, overall body composition, and racial and sex differences." At Transformyou, we take a different approach than most health care providers and gauge your health by taking all of those factors into account that BMI doesn't provide you with the right medical weight loss options for your needs.
Medical weight loss options are designed for people who have health problems related to being overweight or obese, and for people who have made all the right lifestyle changes but can't shed those few extra pounds, or for people who need a little help kickstarting their weight loss to reach their goals. Whatever your reason for wanting to lose weight, it's important to know your available options (that won't jeopardize your health like many of the OTC weight loss options out there).
Medical Weight Loss is Not Meant to Replace a Healthy Lifestyle
One of the common misconceptions about medical weight loss is that you can use it to replace living a healthy lifestyle. It cannot. In order to see the greatest short-term and long-term results, you must dedicate yourself to incorporating physical activity into your week and healthy eating habits. You don't have to do everything right when you begin (and end) your medical weight loss journey, but you must make an effort to live a healthier lifestyle. Just start somewhere and begin to build those healthy habits for better health.
