I was quickly approaching 30 and was the heaviest I had ever been. I have always struggled with my weight. I have been on every type of diet there is from programs to pills. Nothing has ever worked for me. When I met Dr. Bird, I was at a breaking point and with almost 100lbs to lose. I was miserable. When Dr. Bird recommended the HCG diet to me I was very skeptical but excited. I did some research and felt good about it. In the first week I lost 9.5lbs, by the second week I was down a total of 14lbs, and by the third 19.5lbs.
The first week was the hardest. All I kept telling myself is to get to the next weigh in, which of course was the next morning. Every time I stepped on the scale, I knew I could make it through to the next day. By the end of the 40 shots, I had lost 35.5lbs for a total of .70lbs a day. I am proud to say that I didn’t cheat even once. Dr. Bird was very attentive. He checked on me often through e-mail and on the phone. I can’t wait to get started working with him again on my next round. If the HCG Diet can work for a busy working mother of three, who's always on the go, then it can work for anyone.
