My whole life I have struggled to lose and keep weight off. I have a medical condition called Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome which makes it easy for me to gain weight and literally impossible for me to lose weight. After having two babies I was discouraged at my weight. I went on a diet and exercised daily, and I did lose weight, but the results were minimal. I went on the HCG diet and although I was skeptical I was very happy with the results. Within the first week of being on the diet, I lost 5 pounds. My body has never lost 5 pounds so easily. After completing the rest of the diet (40 days) I had lost a total of 24 pounds. On average I lost more than .5 pounds a day.
I really like the way this diet works because the weight comes off from the stubborn fat areas that are hard to lose from, like my stomach. So many people noticed my midsection getting smaller and would tell me how great I looked. I lost 2 pant sizes around the waist, and inches all over. I was worried about weight gain after finishing the first treatment, however, I have been off the diet for 2 weeks now and have not gained a single pound back. I eat healthily and exercise 3-4 times a week. This diet it has changed the way I look at food and the way my body wants food. I don't feel deprived in any way, but I find that I just don't want to overeat and don't want to eat high fat or sugary foods that used to be hard for me to resist. It's just not a temptation anymore, this has been my favorite part.
I actually enjoy the word diet now and can't wait to start another round to get me to my goal weight. I know it sounds too good to be true, and although it's the one thing that I have found to actually work like it says it will, it is still a diet. If you want success and results, follow the program, I find it worthwhile and recommend it to people who have struggled like me to try it.
