The transformyou Appetite Suppressant Programs

While the benefits of appetite suppressants are clear, just like any medication, there are risks involved when taking them. This is why it is so important to work with a licensed medical doctor when taking appetite suppressants and incorporating them into another medical weight loss diet or program.

First, call 480-839-4131 to schedule your free consultation with one of our licensed physicians at transformyou in Tempe, Arizona. Second, check out our specials!

transformyou offers five appetite suppressants in various strengths:

If you wish to be prescribed another type of appetite suppressant, please ask, as other options are available. All initial consultations with our physicians are provided free of charge.

If you choose to get started on an appetite suppressant program, the initial cost is as low as $175, depending on which medication is prescribed. We can help you decide if Phentermine, Phendimetrazine or Qsymia is your best option! FSA & HSA cards are accepted as a form of payment.

At your first visit, our physicians will review your medical history and discuss the benefits and risks of these medications and what to look for as potential side effects. Additional monthly refills are available and future office visits will be determined by the physician.

Recommended Appetite SUppressants

transformyou primarily recommends oral Phentermine Hydrochloride (Adipex), Phendimetrazine (Bontril), Benzphetamine (Didrex), Diethylpropion (Tenuate) and Phentermine/Topiramate (Qsymia) to the majority of our weight loss patients. We have seen great success using these appetite suppressants although there are circumstances where another option is more appropriate. All individualized options will be discussed at your free consult.

Phentermine and Phendimetrazine are in the Sympathomimetic family of appetite suppressants and are used for the short-term management of excess weight. When used in conjunction with diet, exercise, and behavior therapy, these appetite suppressants may help you to lose weight while you are learning new ways to eat and to exercise. Both work by stimulating the hypothalamus gland and affecting certain neurotransmitters to decrease appetite.

Phentermine (15, 30, or 37.5mg), Diethylpropion 75mg ER and Phendimetrazine 105 ER are long-acting appetite suppressants (lasts all day), and Phendimetrazine 35mg along with Diethylpropion 25mg and Benzphetamine 50mg are short-acting appetite suppressant (lasts a half day). Topiramate (used with phentermine) is normally used to treat migraines, epilepsy, and mood/stress disorders. Its use with phentermine helps to decrease hunger, cravings and increase weight loss.

How to Use Appetite Suppressants Properly

Phentermine, Phendimetrazine, Benzphetamine, Diethylpropion, and Qsymia should NOT be used as a substitute for proper diet or exercise. For maximum effects, they must be used in conjunction with a reduced-calorie diet and/or exercise. Any modifications in your diet, activity level, and behavior must be developed and continued long-term in order to continue losing weight and prevent the lost weight from returning.

The Controlled Substances Prescription Monitoring Program (CSPMP) is a program developed to promote public health and welfare by detecting diversion, abuse, and misuse of prescription medications classified as controlled substances under the Arizona Uniform Controlled Substances Act.  Every Physician who possesses a DEA registration is required also to possess a CSPMP registration issued by the Arizona Board of Pharmacy. At transformyou, we adhere to Arizona's CSPMP policy before prescribing a controlled substance to any patient.

All patients always work directly with one of our physicians to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
